Shipping, Refund, and Exchange Information
Shipping from British Columbia Canada.
CANADA POST & USPS to Canada and The United States, respectively.
Cosmic String Apparel is currently accepting returns, with the exception of sale items. All sale items are final sales and are not eligible for returns.
Item must be unused and in the same condition as received. Examples of used & changed conditions include, but are not limited to: stains, odors, pet hairs, washed.
The customer must notify Cosmic String Apparel once the order has been sent and proof of shipping must be provided with the following information shared: i) Photo of the package, ii) Tracking number, iii) Receipt from the postal outlet
A restocking fee of $5.00 will be deducted from the total refund.
Customs & postal fees charged, when applicable, on returned packages will be taken off the total refund.
The customer is responsible for paying for shipping costs for all returns, a tracking number must be provided with return shipping.
Shipping costs will not be refunded.
Orders must be returned through approved shipping providers only: Canada Post & USPS (additional fees may be taken off the refund total if alternative shipping has been used to return the order).
Customs & fees charged, when applicable, on returned packages will be added to your exchange order to be paid before the exchange is shipped (with the exception: if the wrong item was shipped/received).

If your item is marked ‘unclaimed’ and/or ‘return to sender by the postal office and shipped back to the studio (here in British Columbia, Canada), you will be billed for reshipping the item a second time. Or, if you no longer wish to continue with the purchase of your order, a refund will be issued (the return postage charge will be deducted from your refund total).
If the untracked package option is chosen by the customer, any lost packages are the responsibility of the customer, if the customer is unable to locate the lost package the purchase is not eligible for a refund (a tracked package option is always available at checkout).
If you received the wrong item, or if the item arrived damaged contact us within 3 days.
Exchanges and returns must be communicated to us and processed within 7 days of arrival.
Open communication will be upheld during the return/exchange process – when the package has arrived back at the studio, the customer will be notified and updated during the return/exchange process.
Cosmic String Apparel is not responsible for:
- Returns/exchanges made by unauthorized postal companies
- Delayed, lost, or stolen packages
- Additional fees, taxes, and additional charges by the receiver’s country, state, and/or province.
How long have you been in business?
The designers at Cosmic String Apparel have been creating unconventional clothing since 2009, with their first brand: Cat Hats (more information about Cat Hats).
In 2017, they transitioned the clothing line in a new direction and founded Cosmic String Apparel, launching with a small-batch collection of unisex utilitarian pants.

What shipping options are available?
Shipping is currently available to Canada and the USA, via Canada Post and USPS respectively. Nelson, BC residences qualify for delivery!
To celebrate our launch, for a limited time, shipping within Canada is FREE, and USA residences can enjoy a reduced rate of $10 on all orders!
Choices for upgraded shipping options are available (speed, time, and prices at checkout). Handling time is 1-3 business days.
